Professional with a Fun Factor

Robin Brockelsby, President

Creative Coverings president, Robin Brockelsby, sets the tone for the company. She’s a positive force and a whirlwind of activity.

Robin describes her appreciation of beautiful events and her motivation to work so hard on each and every order: “I love that pause at the door when entering a banquet, when the drama or the glamour takes your breath away. It’s that brief pause that makes all the hustle and planning worthwhile. And then you take a breath, enter the room, and the party’s fabulous, too.

Weddings and special events give us beautiful moments to remember all our lives. How could you not love being part of that!”

Look for Robin at trade shows and conferences. Stop her in the hallway; she loves connecting with new people in the event planning and catering industry as well as old friends.

Ask her how she ended up in the event and wedding planning world, too. The story begins with a university degree in public relations and a minor in recreation. “I learned how to talk to people and how to have fun,” she says. “And now, fun, glitz, glamour – we help make them happen every day. Life’s grand!”

Christian Nobis, Operations

You’ll find Christian behind the scenes – sort of. He’s not a shy or retiring kind of guy; he’s just busy staying on top of the day-to-day operations of Creative Coverings.

That means you'll find him everywhere, from shipping  to receiving and manufacturing to cleaning. He has his hands full making sure everything is running smoothly.

Creative Coverings prides itself on Customer Service, and that includes making sure that all of Creative Coverings' fine linens arrive on time and in pristine shape. It also means making sure customer phone calls are picked up quickly and questions answered well, with, of course, the trademark friendliness expected of the Creative Coverings team. It takes a lot to keep a national linen rental company running smoothly, and Christian proves to us again and again that he's just the man who can do the job. He's awesome.

Christian is married to his beautiful bride, Julie, (If you look closely, you'll find her in the background in this photo.) and they have one young child. Christian has a little obsession with golf. Everybody is trying  to figure out if work and family get in the way of his golf game or if his golf game gets in the way of work and family? In addition, he enjoys skiing, hiking and hanging-out around the house with his family.

Christian grew up in a German household in Bloomington, Indiana, and stayed close to home by attending Indiana University. After college, and some time spent in New York City, Nashville, Tennessee, and Denver, he heading west to Reno.
