Creative Coverings is saving trees, one corrugated box at a time. Working with UPS, we have developed a reusable nylon shipping bag to handle all of our return shipping services. This equates to saving approximately 300-600 corrugated cardboard boxes over the life of a single bag.

We have the inside scoop and this season is looking bold and bright! It’s time to leave the subdued, quiet colors and textures of this past year behind and look forward to more expressive, dynamic, and bold trends.
The Pantone Fashion Color Report for spring 2010 is reporting bright color hues such as turquoise and a vibrant cobalt blue, along with a soft lavender and gleaming canary yellow. Warm colors such as a tomato or scarlet red are being paired with the brighter hues.
Neutral colors such as sage green, champagne, and taupe will also be paired with some of the bolder colors and textures. Even though the Pantone Fashion Color Report is compiled based on fashion and apparel trends, these color trends move into linens, décor, and home furnishings as well.
Check out any of your favorite magazines for fashion, weddings, or home décor and see how closely the colors and textures associate from season to season!
Color combinations will be popular but the monochromatic look will still be a classy décor trend this year. Patterns such as damask (our black and white baroque) or even animal prints and the 80’s inspired neon colors are making a comeback. The rules are being tossed out the door and mixing and matching odd color or design combinations will be a fun way to surprise your guests.
Layering linens with overlays or runners can be a budget-conscious solution to add pizzazz to a table. Volume and depth with textures, such as ruffles and rosettes, will be a popular trend that will create movement in any room.
So, the look and feel for spring/summer 2010 is bright, bold, and vibrant colors and textures – something we can all look forward to for creative inspiration for dynamic event design solutions!

I love this part of the business. As an event planner and special events designer in Nevada, I've been in the frontlines of banquet production. It gets frenzied and exciting in its final moments as we see all of our tablecloth, napkin, overlays and chaircover decisions coming to fruition.
